ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS DISCLOSURE

Remote Online Notarization is an electronic process. This disclosure explains what you are consenting to.

Consent to electronic records

By submitting a request, you consent to receive records, notices, disclosures, and completed documents electronically rather than on paper, and to using electronic signatures where applicable.

How we communicate

We communicate through email and through secure messages tied to your request. Completed electronic documents are delivered through a secure process, not as ordinary email attachments.

Hardware and software you need

  • A device with a current web browser and internet access
  • A working camera and microphone for the notarization session
  • An email account you can access
  • The ability to view and save PDF documents

Paper copies

You may print or save any document we provide. Whether a printed copy of an electronically notarized document is acceptable is determined by the organization receiving it.

Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw consent to electronic communications by contacting us, but Remote Online Notarization cannot be completed without it. Withdrawal does not affect records already provided.

Keeping your contact information current

Tell us promptly if your email address or phone number changes so notices about your request continue to reach you.
