• Details about your request: document type, intended place of use, signer count and locations, witness needs, deadline, and any notes you add
• Documents you upload
• Account information if you create an account
• Technical data such as request timestamps needed to operate and secure the service

How we use it

We use your information to review your request, determine whether it can be handled remotely, verify identity as required for a notarial act, communicate with you about your request, deliver completed documents, maintain required records, and protect the service against misuse.

How we share it

We share information with service providers that operate parts of the platform — hosting, storage, authentication, and the compliant Remote Online Notarization workflow used for the notarial act itself — and with the notary performing your notarization. We share information when required by law or by applicable notarial recordkeeping obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and your documents are not sent to advertising or analytics services.

Retention

Requests and documents are retained for the period needed to complete the service and to satisfy applicable recordkeeping requirements, then deleted under our retention controls.

Security

Documents are stored privately and transmitted over encrypted connections, with role-based access controls. Our security page describes the specific measures in place.

Your choices

You may request access to or deletion of information we hold about you, subject to legal and notarial recordkeeping obligations that may require us to retain certain records. Contact us to make a request.

Children

The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children, although a document may reference a minor — for example a travel consent letter.

Changes

We will update this policy as the service changes and will revise the effective date when we do.
